  • Soul Rebels (1970)
    Soul Rebels adalah sebuah album oleh The Wailers, album pertama mereka akan dirilis di luar Jamaika. The Wailers mendekati produser Lee Perry di Agustus 1970 untuk merekam seluruh album, dan sesi berlangsung di Randy Studio 17 di Kingston, Jamaika sampai November. Pertama diterbitkan di Inggris oleh Trojan Record pada bulan Desember 1970, album sejak dirilis telah kembali beberapa kali pada label yang berbeda. Produksi Perry adalah tipis dan menghantui, hanya menampilkan gitar, bass, drum, organ elektronik, dan vokal tanpa tanduk atau hiasan lainnya.

    The Best of The Wailers adalah sebuah album oleh The Wailers, dirilis pada bulan Agustus 1971. Meskipun judulnya, itu bukan album kompilasi. Album ini direkam di 1969-1970 (sebelum keterlibatan band dengan Lee Perry), tetapi hanya dirilis pada tahun 1971.
    Album ini diproduksi oleh Leslie Kong, yang meninggal karena serangan jantung pada usia 38 tahun, seminggu setelah album ini dirilis.

    Catch a Fire adalah debut album label besar untuk band Jamaican reggae The Wailers, dirilis di Island Records pada tanggal 13 April 1973. Album ini didirikan sebagai superstar internasional. Pemimpin Bob Marley pada khususnya menjadi terkenal di dunia.     Burnin' adalah album roots reggae oleh The Wailers, dirilis pada tahun 1973. Album keempat oleh Bob Marley, Peter Tosh dan Bunny Wailer (yang terakhir sebelum Tosh dan Bunny berangkat untuk karir solo dan band ini menjadi dikenal sebagai Bob Marley & The Wailers), Burnin dibuka dengan lagu tanda tangan, panggilan untuk bertindak "Get Up , stand Up" dan termasuk nada lebih konfrontatif dan militan dari catatan sebelumnya, seperti di lain standar Marley berubah menjadi # 1" Rock Blues "terkena Eric Clapton, "I Shot the Sheriff".     Rastaman Vibration adalah album roots reggae oleh Bob Marley & The Wailers dirilis pada tanggal 30 April 1976. Album ini sukses besar di Amerika Serikat, pertama Bob Marley rilis untuk mencapai sepuluh teratas pada tangga lagu Billboard 200 (memuncak pada No 8), di samping untuk melepaskan paling populer Marley AS tunggal ("Roots, Rock, Reggae" adalah Bob Marley hanya tunggal untuk mencapai Billboard Hot 100 chart, memuncak pada Nomor 51). Synthesizer yang menonjol di album ini, menambahkan hiasan berangin keras mengemudi sebaliknya lagu dengan unsur-unsur kuat dari gitar rock.

  • Exodus (1977)

    Exodus adalah album studio kesembilan oleh band reggae Jamaika Bob Marley & The Wailers, dirilis pada tanggal 3 Juni 1977 di Island. Banyak dari Exodus direkam di London, sementara Marley sembuh dari percobaan pembunuhan. Keberhasilan album mendorong Marley bintang internasional. Sebuah versi remaster dari Exodus dirilis pada tahun 2007, di Inggris sebagai buku panjang penuh mencatat retret Bob Marley ke pengasingan setelah upaya pembunuhan dan pembuatan album.

  • Kaya (1978)

    Kaya adalah album roots reggae yang dirilis oleh Bob Marley dan Wailers pada tahun 1978. Album ini terdiri dari lagu yang direkam bersama mereka yang hadir di album Exodus pada tahun 1977. Album ini memiliki, suara sangat santai, kurang banyak kualitas militan "The Wailers" lirik dan musik. Mereka menerima kritik sebagai akibat dari album suara umum serta tema: lagu terutama berputar di sekitar cinta, serta ganja.
    Rilis album bertepatan dengan One Love Peace Concert, kembali menggembar-gemborkan kemenangan Marley ke Jamaika dari exodus di London. Banyak dari lagu-lagu ini di album ini, serta adik Keluaran album nya, adalah versi rerecorded trek tua hadir pada album seperti African Herbsman.   • Survival (1979)

    Survival  adalah album roots reggae oleh Bob Marley & The Wailers dirilis pada tahun 1979.
    S    urvival adalah sebuah album dengan tema luar militan. Beberapa berspekulasi bahwa ini karena sebagian kritik Marley menerima untuk suasana santai, ganja-direndam rilis sebelumnya, "Kaya", yang tampaknya sidetrack urgensi pesannya. Dalam lagu "Africa Unite", Marley menyatakan solidaritas "Pan-Afrika". Lagu "Zimbabwe" adalah sebuah himne didedikasikan untuk kemudian-independen Rhodesia. Lagu itu dilakukan pada Perayaan Kemerdekaan Zimbabwe pada tahun 1980, hanya setelah deklarasi resmi kemerdekaan Zimbabwe. "Zimbabwe" dipandang sebagai lagu nasional tak resmi.
                  Survival     awalnya disebut kelangsungan hidup Hitam untuk menggarisbawahi urgensi persatuan Afrika, tapi nama itu disingkat untuk mencegah salah tafsir dari tema album. Marley awalnya direncanakan untuk rilis "Survival" sebagai bagian pertama dari "trilogi", diikuti dengan "Pemberontakan" pada tahun 1980 dan "Konfrontasi" pada tahun 1983.
                Di Afrika Selatan album ini sebagian disensor oleh pemerintah.

  • Uprising (1980)

    Uprising adalah album reggae 1980 oleh Bob Marley & The Wailers. Sebagai Marley meninggal pada tahun berikutnya, Uprising adalah untuk menjadi album studio terakhir yang akan dirilis selama hidupnya. Album ini adalah salah satu yang paling Marley langsung agama, dengan hampir setiap lagu menangani "Rastafarian"-nya keyakinan, yang berpuncak pada rakyat akustik  klasik , "Redemption Song".

  • Confrontation (1983)


    Confrontation     adalah album roots reggae oleh Bob Marley & The Wailers, dirilis secara anumerta pada Mei 1983, dua tahun setelah kematian Marley. Lagu-lagu di album ini dikumpulkan dari materi yang belum pernah dirilis dan single direkam selama seumur hidup Marley. Lagu yang paling terkenal pada album ini adalah "Buffalo Soldier". Di dalam lengan album penggambaran seorang artis dari "Pertempuran Adowa" di mana pasukan Ethiopia  mengalahkan Italia pada 1896. Sampul Confrontation adalah referensi ke kisah "St George and the Dragon". The Dargon di sampul mewakili Babylon, yang sedang dibunuh oleh Bob Marley melalui musik.
